Surveillance, Security & By-Law Enforcement
The Surveillance & Security Department of Wiikwemkoong Unceded Territory plays a vital role in maintaining the safety, peace, and well-being of our community. Working in close collaboration with the Wikwemikong Tribal Police Service (WTPS), our team is committed to protecting lives, property, and the cultural integrity of our Nation through proactive, community-based security measures.
Our department is dedicated to upholding the values of respect, vigilance, and service. We provide 24/7 surveillance and security support across the territory, ensuring that all residents, visitors, and community spaces remain safe. Our work is grounded in the traditions and teachings of the Anishinabek, and we strive to reflect the strength and resilience of our people in every action we take. We are proud to support WTPS in their mission to reduce crime, enforce laws, and foster trust through culturally grounded approaches.
