The Wiikwemkoong Unceded Territory through the Wiikwemkoong Anishinaabe Aadiziwin Nakiigamig and collaborators, plan the deliverance of an Annual Anishinaabemowin Language Gathering.

Infusing Anishinaabe Aadiziwin and Anishinaabemowin will inspire selected keynote speakers, informative presentations, educational workshops and interactive activities led by local fluent speakers and knowledge carriers.

The Annual Anishinaabemowin Language Gathering encourages the preservation, revitalization, and connection of being Anishinaabe and provide opportunities to learn Anishinaabemowin within varied styles of learning techniques for ease of understanding for each participant: child, youth and community member.

All levels welcome.
